Guess we have no choice but to feel sorry for Ursula…recap of Episode 15 of Once Upon a Time

Every villain has a history or a turning point that made them the way they are. I have a feeling we’ll hear everyone’s story by the end of this season. For this episode, it was Ursula. Fun fact: The Ursula who was shown last season in a non-human form is actually the deity that this Ursula was named after. They are two completely different characters. In fact, Ursula was a mermaid before she turned herself into a Sea Witch with 8 tentacles. She had lost her mother and her father was forcing her to sing her siren song to lure pirates to their deaths. She didn’t like this plan and actually stopped in time to save Hook and his crew. Ursula, after having an argument with her father, gave herself a set of human legs and became a singing bar maid. She was just trying to sing her way to having enough money to visit the place her mother loved. Guess who could take her there? The lovely Captain Hook. Long story short, Daddy wasn’t having it and in the process, Ursula’s lovely singing voice was taken from her and placed into a shell. Yes, exactly like in The Little Mermaid. Except that I don’t think this Ursula ever met Ariel. It was Regina pretending to be the Goddess Ursula that went after her. Ursula was able to regain her voice after a trade with Hook and she decided to go back to the sea with her father. She actually is the first villain to truly get her happy ending. Hook implied that Emma is his happy ending and we all felt all the feels but we know something bad is gonna happen. Meanwhile, poor August was tortured for information about the Author. The conclusion? The page Regina kept with a picture of the door is an actual door to the Author (who’s apparently trapped behind it). If I were to make a guess, I’d say that one by one, the villains will get their happy endings (maybe not for Gold) and something bad surrounding Emma will happen. I sense a cliffhanger is in the making.
